Are You Stressed? Tips To Relieve The Anxiety That Can Affect Work

Do you often feel stressed? Here are some precious tips to help you relieve the anxiety that can affect work.

A study presented by Daily Mail showed that one out of four people takes a break from work because of stress. How should we deal with this problem?

Experts in nutrition, sport, and psychology recommend some ways to reduce stress.

Experts give some lifestyle tips and outline some suggestions you can follow to alleviate this suffering.

Anti-Stress Natural Treatments: Tips To Relieve Anxiety

1. Exercise Outdoors With Friends

A big issue for an adult is the work schedule. For some, work can start early or go late into the evening, making it difficult to have a social life and stay active and healthy.

This was a key motivation for Katie Booth, who created Fitssi, a social fitness app. Booth claims that as well as having fun or hanging out with friends, you can also exercise together.

Chris Sweeney, the co-founder of Fitssi, says that exercising outdoors with friends can play a major role in managing stress levels and that any physical activity stimulates the production of the happiness hormone - endorphin.

Endorphins trigger a positive feeling in the body, which reduces the sensation of pain and helps relax the body. But most important is the social experience of working out with friends: It's all about socializing and exercising outdoors because it's good for your health, and it's also great fun.

2. The Hidden Powers Of Green Tea

Coffee has become a common beverage consumed at the office. But, you can get good results if you drink green tea. Green tea improves mood, explains Wilkinson Shona, nutritionist at SuperfoodUK.com. It contains caffeine, which gives us energy, and also theanine - an amino acid with psychoactive properties, says Shona.

Studies have shown that theanine - the active ingredient in green tea - causes an increase in alpha brainwaves - associated with relaxation and calmness - and the effect can last up to 12 hours.

Green tea can also help reduce anxiety and mental stress by boosting dopamine levels.

3. Wisely Prioritize Activities

If you feel symptoms of stress coming on, try prioritizing, says nutritionist Dr. Marilyn Glenville, author of Natural Alternatives to Sugar. She argues that having a clear mind will help you make informed decisions.

Dr. Glenville believes there is nothing more important than your health and insists you should learn to say NO if you feel something is too much to take.

She urges readers to draw clear lines for themselves, distinguishing what they can and cannot do. A list of tasks should be made, and they should be planned and prioritized. This will help to establish a sense of control over your life.

4. Laugh Often - Its A Powerful Medicine

Although stress can make us feel terrible, if we learn to laugh, it is beneficial for our minds and bodies. Many studies show that laughter boosts energy, lowers stress hormones, boosts immunity, and reduces pain, explains Dr. Glenville.

Laughter is very important for any age, it triggers the release of endorphins, which make you feel happier and more relaxed.

5. Eat Avocados

Many studies have shown that avocados bring many benefits to the body, playing an important role in preventing aging, heart disease, and even cancer.

Half of a large avocado fruit contains 180 calories and can be one of the five recommended daily servings of fruit and vegetables.

Containing potassium, magnesium, and vitamin E, avocados help to produce energy while also helping to calm the nervous system.

6. Get Enough Sleep - It's Important

Too little sleep alters the metabolism, so the body cannot process food efficiently. An hour lost over the required sleep limit could lead to visible weight loss in a few weeks, which has been proven.

According to many studies, staying up late into the night also means more snacking and less physical effort.

Quality sleep is essential for your health, and insufficient sleep (four and a half hours a night) can lead to feelings of frustration, anger, sadness, or exhaustion.

7. You Should Have A Positive And Caring Attitude

Maintaining a positive attitude and repressing negative messages is necessary to improve your quality of life. Many studies talk about the power of maintaining a positive attitude and optimism.

On the other hand, an honest, caring attitude of kindness and tolerance towards others and a willingness to help those close to you influences both yourself and those around you for the better.
