How to Sell Your High Jewelry to Us
DSF Antique Jewelry may, at its discretion, consider select fine jewelry, signed designer jewelry, estate, vintage and antique jewelry, luxury watches, rare objects, and other exceptional pieces for acquisition.
If you would like DSF to consider an item, please send a detailed description, clear photographs, any available documentation, and your asking price. Every submission is reviewed individually, and DSF is under no obligation to evaluate, authenticate, appraise, make an offer for, or purchase any item submitted.
To begin, please use our contact form and select or mention “Item Submission” in your message. Include a brief description of the item, your location, any known maker or signature, available documentation, and your asking price. Please do not mail or deliver an item before receiving instructions from DSF.
What DSF May Consider
Our acquisition interests may include:
- Fine jewelry and important gemstone jewelry
- Signed jewelry by recognized designers and jewelry houses
- Estate, vintage and antique jewelry
- Luxury watches and jewelry watches
- Rare objects, objets de vertu and exceptional decorative pieces
- Unusual or historically significant items that complement the DSF collection
Acquisition interests change according to the existing collection and current market demand. Submitting an item does not guarantee that DSF will request an appointment or present an offer.
How It Works
1. Share Details About Your Item
Please provide as much relevant information as possible, including:
- Clear photographs of the front, back and sides
- Close-up photographs of signatures, hallmarks, serial numbers or maker’s marks
- Measurements, weight and ring size, where applicable
- A description of the item’s condition
- Any known alterations, repairs or replacement components
- Gemological reports, receipts, archival documents, original boxes or papers, when available
- Your location and asking price
The more complete the submission, the easier it is for our team to determine whether the item may be relevant to DSF’s current acquisition interests.
2. Private Review
DSF will review the submitted information privately. If the item appears relevant, we may request additional photographs or documentation, arrange a telephone conversation, or invite you to a private appointment at our New York office.
Appointments are available by prior arrangement only. You may learn more about visiting DSF through our Private Consultation page.
Any review conducted through this process is solely for the purpose of deciding whether DSF may wish to acquire the item. It is not a public appraisal, valuation or authentication service.
3. Possible Purchase Offer
If the item meets our acquisition criteria, DSF may present a purchase offer. Not every submission will result in an offer, and we may be unable to pursue items that do not align with the collection at that time.
When DSF purchases an item directly, no seller commission is charged. Any offer will be based on the item itself, its condition, documentation, market considerations and DSF’s current acquisition needs.
4. Payment
If an offer is accepted, the terms of the transaction and payment arrangements will be confirmed in writing. Payment may be made by check or bank transfer after the required transaction details have been completed.
