Sharon Stone's Near Death Experience: "I had an Incredible Sense of Well-Being"
In an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show, famous actress Sharon Stone shared with the audience the near-death experience she went through.
"So, tell us, I heard that you had one of those near-death experiences. Is that true?" asked Oprah.
"It is. Well, I had that all-white light thing," Sharon Stone replayed.
The actress suffered a stroke that led to a cerebral hemorrhage in 2001. The actress claims that everything happened after the doctors performed an MRI.
"After the MRI, I was unconscious in the tube, and then when I cam out of it, and they talked to me, I kind of had that thing. It is sort of like passing out but you sort of pass up".
"You pass up?" Oprah reacted.
"Sort of. And you have this big blow-up thing. I don't know how to explain it. It’s just a lot of white light and you see people that have passed on, and they talk to you, and then you pop right back into your body and you awake," Sharon Stone explained.
The NDE didn't shock Sharon Stone. On the contrary
The experience did not shock the actress, instead, she felt an "incredible sense of well-being" which she described as wonderful.
"I had an incredible sense of well-being, in a sense that it's just so near, it's not a faraway or scary thing and...", said the Hollywood star.
"You mean death?", Oprah asked.
"Death", Sharon Stone confirmed.
"Really?", said Oprah in amazement.
"That it’s very near and very safe..."
"It's like it is a breath away?"
"Yes. It's just right there."
"That is interesting! I have never heard it described that way", Oprah remarked.
"It's safe and loving, and gentle, and OK, and there’s nothing to be afraid of. And that it's beautiful, loving, gentle, good. I felt so safe and so OK. (..) I felt peaceful, serene, and I felt like either thing will work out, but yet I really was sure that I wanted to be with my son. I think it was a real choice for me", Sharon Stone said.
In a Closer Weekly magazine cover story, the movie star again talked about her incredible near-death experience.
"I had a real journey with this, that took me to places both here and beyond that affected me so profoundly, that my life will never be the same... I get to be not afraid of dying. (..) This kind of giant vortex of white light was upon me and I kind of -- poof! Sort of took off into this glorious, bright, bright, bright white light and I started to see and be met by some of my friends. But it was very fast -- whoosh! Suddenly, I was back. I was in my body and I was in the room", Sharon Stone remembered.
