Caviar Unveils Mechanical Watch Featuring SpaceX Starship Fragment
Dubai's luxury brand Caviar has launched the Space Tornado collection, inspired by space phenomena that create the northern lights. The flagship model's dial includes a piece of the SpaceX mission spacecraft.

The latest addition to Caviar’s collection is the Stargazer X-Edition watch, featuring a dial adorned with a piece of the SpaceX Starship mission spacecraft.
Named "Stargazer" to symbolize humanity's quest for knowledge and exploration of the stars, this model is highly exclusive, with only three pieces available, according to The Jewelry Magazine.
The Stargazer’s dial draws inspiration from Jupiter’s moon Europa. It features an icy, striated finish, echoing the moon’s frozen surface and the blue ocean beneath it, which scientists believe may harbor life.
This design is poetic, as the watch's intricate movement lies just beneath the dial’s surface.
The watch includes a main dial to indicate the time, accompanied by two subdials - one for the power reserve indicator and the other as a 24-hour clock. These subdials are complemented by a tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position, beating like the watch’s heart.
However, if you can tear your gaze away from its mesmerizing motion, your eyes will be drawn to the 12 o’clock position.
A notable feature is the fragment of the Starship spacecraft embedded at the 12 o’clock mark. Caviar acquired this piece from a collector in Boca Chica, Texas, following the Starship crash on March 14, 2024.
This limited edition symbolizes humanity’s relentless pursuit of knowledge, readiness to face challenges, and resilience in the face of setbacks.

The Space Tornado Series
The Space Tornado series also includes the skeletonized SkyWard watch and the Twin Spin watch with a double tourbillon.
The SkyWard's transparent case showcases the intricate watch mechanism and tourbillon in action, giving it an ethereal appearance.
The Twin Spin model features two identical tourbillons, decorated with the letter "S" for the Space Tornado collection.
Prices for the collection start at $5,490 for the Stargazer, with the Stargazer X-Edition priced at $6,910. That price shouldn’t surprise, given that Caviar has built its reputation on catering to the crème de la crème of tech collectors.
