Meghan Markle And Queen Consort Camilla Can't Stand Each Other
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's wife, and Queen Consort Camilla, King Charles' wife, can't stand each other. Here is what a royal biographer recently claimed!
It's no secret that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, had a tense relationship with some of the members of the British royal family.
Royal biographer Tom Bower claimed in his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the Windsor War" that the Queen Consort has always been "suspicious" of Prince Harry's wife's dedication to royal duties.
The Relationships Between Meghan Markle And Camilla
Author Tom Bower recently told The Sun that, from the beginning, Camilla was suspicious of the Los Angeles actress. According to him, it was hard for the Queen Consort to believe that Meghan Markle would sacrifice her career and independence to quietly serve as a devoted member of the monarchy.
The royal biographer says Camilla would often refer to Meghan Markle, during the conversations within the family, as "that minx" - a name that is given to someone who is cunning, and not trustworthy.
"During those inevitably endless, tortured, and inconclusive conversations, Camilla is the sort who would refer to Meghan as ‘that minx’ — the self-seeking trouble-maker whose antics will always end in tears," Tom Bower said.
Meghan and Prince Harry gave up their royal status in January 2020 and moved to California, where they have been working on various projects and documentaries to become financially independent.
When Meghan and Harry began criticizing the royals in the press, Camilla reportedly tried to console Charles and reassure him that he had done his best as a father.
