The top spot in The Jerusalem Post's list of the 50 most influential Jews in the world in 2022 belongs to Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski. According to Time magazine readers in May, the president of Ukraine was selected as the most significant figure in 2022.

Who Are The Top 50 Most Influential Jews In The World In 2022

Israel's Yair Lapid, the Israeli Prime Minister who is said to be changing the Middle East, and France's Elizabeth Bourne respectively, the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, became prime minister of France in May 2022, becoming the second woman to hold that position were placed in second and third place.

Tom Nides, a significant middleman between the US and Israel, is ranked fourth, while in fifth place we find Benjamin Netanyahu, the former Israeli Prime Minister, and opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu.

In the sixth and respectively in seventh place, there is Dana Walden, chairwoman of Disney General Entertainment Content, which oversees the production of the vast library of Disney content, which is available on Disney+, Hulu, ABC Entertainment, National Geographic Content, and other platforms, including the recently launched Disney+ in Israel and Ronald S. Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, whom frequently meets with heads of state, prime ministers, and government leaders to debate and advance issues that affect Jews and Jewish communities worldwide. He is not afraid to speak out in these meetings, which are attended by Jewish communities from 106 nations.

Antony Blinken, the director of US diplomacy, is ranked eighth. When you are the US secretary of state, there is no such thing as a dull year, but Antony Blinken had a hectic year this past year.

It all began with the effects of his nation's withdrawal from Afghanistan and the challenges encountered in resettling Afghan refugees in the United States due to significant bureaucratic obstacles. The disorderly departure was criticized by the Biden administration, including the State Department, as being badly planned and carried out. But without a doubt, this past year's biggest obstacle for Blinken was the war in Ukraine.

In the ninth and tenth place, we find Jerusalem District Court Judge Rivka Friedman-Feldman, who is one of the few judges who have found a prime minister guilty and jailed him (Ehud Olmert), and respectively the CEO of Divvy Homes, Adena Hefets who made it to the prestigious list Forbes' 40-under-40 for her business.

The list continues with illustrious names from all the fields of activity. The goal of the list of the 50 most significant Jews of 2022 is to demonstrate the diversity of the Jewish people by emphasizing figures from the fields of governance, art, medicine, literature, and science.
