When thinking about writing instruments, Motblanc is on the top list of quality and luxury creations. Established in 1906 in Germany by August Eberstein and Alfred Nehemias, Montblanc became an internationally successful manufacturer of writing pens. After's Montblanc's success with pens the company started to make other products, from keychains, leather-goods, watches, cufflinks and a wide range of luxury items. The six pointed star representing the snow atop Europe’s highest mountain, Mt. Blanc became the officially logo of the company in 1910.
In 1924, Montblanc introduced the Meisterstück. That model and soon became a style icon of its time. Meisterstück nib was engraved with ‘4810’, representing the height of Mont Blanc tallest mountain in Europe. which stands tall at 4,810 meteres.
