Researchers have concluded that the most attractive part of a woman's anatomy is her lips. That lips attract the most attention from men. The study was carried out by the University of Manchester and the results were obtained by examining in detail the eye movements of 50 men who looked at images of several women.
The researchers found that when first meeting a woman, in the first 10 seconds, participants spent more than half the time looking at her mouth.
Specifically, the average is 7 seconds. However, milliseconds vary by lip color: pink attracts attention for 6.7 seconds, red for 7.3 seconds, and natural lips for 2.2 seconds. In contrast, eyes received 0.95 seconds and hair 0.85 seconds of attention.
"The study shows that lips are one of the most sensual aspects of a woman's body and play a fundamental role in human sensual attraction," explained Dr. Geoff Beattie, head of the research.

According to Dr. Beattie, the practice of coloring one's lips dates back to antiquity, when Egyptians "commonly used red pencil and lipstick to enhance the attractiveness of the lips."
