The modest living conditions of the world's richest man
In the past year, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO has sold or listed for sale all of his real estate worth $114 million.
The truth is that Elon Musk is now living in modest conditions for a person with his fortune. He now lives in Texas in a tiny 47-square-foot house worth 50,000 dollars.
Why did he choose this option? Apparently, Elon Musk wanted to be as close as possible to his co-workers, so he rented a modular home and transported it to the headquarters of his space exploration company SpaceX.
"My main house is a roughly $50,000 house in Boca Chica/Starbase that I rented. But it's lovely," Elon Musk wrote on his Twitter account.
The house is basically an open space, with both the bedroom, kitchen, and living area in the same space.
Everything is extremely simple, minimalist, so nothing about the way the home is laid out gives away the fact that the world's richest man lives in it every day.
Experts say that Elon Musk could become the first man with a fortune of over 1,000 billion dollars, thanks to his space exploration company SpaceX.
