According to NetCredit, the celebrities who earn the most from sponsored posts on Instagram are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Virat Kohli, Beyonce, and Dua Lipa. They compiled a ranking based on the number of followers and sponsored posts made on Instagram in 2021, revealing how much celebrities earned that year.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who tops the chart, has 489 million followers on Instagram and has earned around 85 million dollars from sponsored posts, while Lionel Messi, with 367 million followers, has earned 72 million dollars.
In third place is another star from the sports world, Virat Kohli, former Indian cricket captain and currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. He collects 36 million dollars from the activity carried out on social media.
Actress and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is the fourth highest earner on Instagram, with her contracts bringing her nearly 34 million dollars a year.
Beyonce also makes good money from sponsored posts on Instagram either. She occupies fifth place in the ranking with earnings of 33 million dollars.
Kevin Hart earns 26.1 million dollars, followed by Selena Gomez (12 million dollars) and Khloe Kardashian (10.6 million dollars) round out the top 5 highest Instagram earners in the United States.
