The Biggest Contract In Sports History
Le Parisien reported that Kylian Mbappe would have a salary of €72 million (71 million dollars) gross per year, but also a signing bonus of €180 million (177 million dollars), as well as a so-called "loyalty" bonus.
Every year in September, Kylian Mbappé receives a sliding scale: €70 million a few weeks ago, €80 million in September 2023, and €90 million after the summer of 2024 if he stays at the French capital's club.
630 million euros would be the maximum PSG would pay the player if he stayed for three seasons. If the former AS Monaco player stays for just two years, he would receive 480 million.
According to the quoted source, these staggering sums are not only paid by PSG, but also by the player's various sponsors.
