"I liked the articles that called me the most beautiful soccer player one of the most beautiful because it makes me happy to hear that I am beautiful", Maria Markovic said.
And although she likes some comments about her beauty, when asked if she would rather be a model or sign for Chelsea, Markovic replied: "Definitely the contract with Chelsea of course!"

Nevertheless, being beautiful and sexy can also bring some inconveniences. She says she has been bombarded by unsolicited X-rated photos and also messages from fake managers on social media.
"A lot of people wrote to me pretending to be managers, and I know exactly what they want from me. They've never seen me play football and only look at the outside. I find that a great pity. I think such people should find out more beforehand and see what I can do in terms of football."
"Many have also made me feel like I'm pretty and that just because of that you could make something out of me on social media and that they want to make money with it," she said in an interview.
"Sometimes I also receive funny messages from people who want, for example, to clean my football boots after training," added Ana Maria.
