Shakira Made Pique A Million Euros Offer But Was Categorically Refused

Shakira and Gerard Pique had a face-to-face meeting. The famous singer made the footballer an offer of millions of euros, but the refusal was categorical.

Colombian singer Shakira (45 years old) and Spanish footballer Gerard Pique (35 years old) have split after a long relationship, and the two personalities are now fighting over the future of their two children.

Shakira is determined to move permanently to Miami, where she owns a luxurious property, with little Milan (9 years old) and Sasha (7 years old), but is currently being met with a categorical refusal from Pique.

In order to convince her former life partner, Shakira has gone to the negotiating table with Pique.

"It was a face-to-face meeting, quite a tense meeting. It was discussed where the children would be and with whom. Pique is said to have been very firm in not agreeing to them moving to Miami," says a Spanish journalist close to the former couple.

According to the YouTube show "Chisme No Like", Shakira also reportedly made Pique an offer of millions of euros.

The Colombian pop star reportedly offered to take full responsibility for the children, who would then move with her to Miami. Pique would have been allowed to spend the summer with them and fly to Florida five times a year in first class, with a flight paid for by Shakira.

Furthermore, Shakira would also have agreed to cover about 20 percent of the player's debt - which amounts to about 2.5 million euros - accrued because of legal problems in Spain.

 Although they were not married, Pique and Shakira amassed an impressive fortune in their 12 years together.  The amount that will be divided at the separation amounts to 700 million euros. Lawyers are already working on the documentation so that the fortune is divided correctly. Read more here.
