Tennis Star Emma Raducanu is The New Face of Dior
A new fashion giant called for Emma Raducanu. The young tennis star has been signed up as Dior’s newest celebrity ambassador.
Winner of the US Open this year, Emma Raducanu will be Christian Dior’s latest ambassador for both Maria Grazia Chiuri’s womenswear collections and the face of the skincare and makeup categories overseen by Peter Philips.
"Verry excited to join this iconic house," said Emma Raducanu after signing the contract with Dior.
According to Vogue, perhaps, it all began with the dress Raducanu chose to wear at the James Bond premiere: a Grecian style gown designed by Christian Dior's creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri for the Cruise 2022 collection.
"It felt heavenly!" Raducanu told Vogue of slipping into the dress for the first time. "Being able to wear a dress like that made with all the magic in the Dior ateliers was a totally unique experience. The detailed embroidery was exceptional and I was so honored to attend my first movie premiere in it."

Born from a Romanian father and a Chinese mother, the young athlete had a thrilling ascent to the fourth round at Wimbledon this summer and, of course, after the breathtaking performance at the US Open in September. These impressive victories made her one of the tennis world’s biggest stars and no wonder she become a target for large brands that want to associate their image with her.
So, Dior isn't the first fashion house that came calling for Emma Raducanu. Less than two weeks after her historic victory against Leylah Fernandez on 11 September, Raducanu has joined the ranks of Hollywood’s elite as the new face of Tiffany & Co.
Back home in London, Emma attended an intimate dinner and party hosted by British Vogue and Tiffany & Co. to celebrate Fashion and Film during London Fashion Week. It was obviously a perfect opportunity for the young tennis player to shine again with her elegant presence, dressed in an extra-sporty outfit.
At the Vogue dinner, Raducanu wore a two-piece ensemble from British designer Erdem. She wore a flowing, pleated white skirt with a midriff-skimming halterneck blouse adorned with intricate beading and diamantes. The young tennis star accessorized the look with a diamond Tiffany & Co bracelet, a ring, and earrings.
Other recently named famous ambassadors for the brand include K-pop star Jisoo and actor Yara Shahidi.
Nevertheless, though she made an impressive entrance into the fashion house, she is not neglecting her main love: tennis. Emma Raducanu is diligently preparing for the Transylvania Open tournament, in Cluj, where she has already confirmed her presence.
