Tiffany & Co. Unveils Tiffany Wonder Exhibition in Tokyo

A Journey Into the World of Tiffany & Co.

Tiffany & Co. has unveiled its latest brand showcase, Tiffany Wonder, a captivating exhibition designed to immerse visitors in the Maison’s heritage of artistry, innovation, and design excellence. Hosted at the prestigious TOKYO NODE gallery within the Toranomon Hills Station Tower—one of Tokyo’s tallest buildings—this extraordinary event highlights Tiffany’s timeless spirit through a breathtaking presentation of nearly 300 masterpieces.

From dazzling diamonds to visionary jewels, Tiffany Wonder guides guests through a story that balances craftsmanship with innovation, and tradition with modernity. Each creation speaks of Tiffany’s ongoing influence on both the world of fine jewelry and global culture.

Highlights of the Exhibition

The exhibition brings together Tiffany’s most iconic creations, including:

  • Jean Schlumberger’s “Bird on a Rock” brooch (first designed in 1965), one of the most celebrated jewels of the 20th century.

  • The Plumes necklace by Schlumberger, showcasing bold imagination and masterful design.

  • A rare George Paulding Farnham orchid brooch, an exquisite example of Tiffany’s artistry from the late 19th century.

  • The legendary 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond, now presented in a new design inspired by the Bird on a Rock motif.

  • Archival treasures such as the first Blue Book catalog, an early Blue Box, and the revolutionary Tiffany® Setting engagement ring.

Together, these works form a dazzling exploration of Tiffany’s creative legacy and its pioneering role in jewelry design.

Tiffany’s Deep Connection With Japan

The Maison’s ties to Japan date back to its founding in 1837, when Charles Lewis Tiffany introduced rare Japanese imports to American audiences. This fascination with Japanese artistry continued to inspire Tiffany’s greatest designers, including Edward C. Moore, Louis Comfort Tiffany, and Elsa Peretti, all of whom drew upon Japanese traditions of craftsmanship, refinement, and creativity.

This bond remains at the heart of Tiffany Wonder. As Anthony Ledru, President & CEO of Tiffany & Co., stated:

“For decades, Tiffany & Co. has drawn inspiration from Japan, deepening our genuine ties and historical presence in the region. This exhibition highlights some of Tiffany's most extraordinary pieces, like the inaugural 1965 Bird on a Rock brooch by Jean Schlumberger, one of the 20th century’s most talented designers. It celebrates Tiffany’s superior craftsmanship, diamond expertise, and creativity, promising to delight every visitor.”

A Fusion of Art, Architecture, and Heritage

The setting of Tiffany Wonder at TOKYO NODE is no coincidence. The gallery is part of a tower designed by OMA, the internationally renowned architecture firm that has also shaped Tiffany spaces in New York and Tokyo. The exhibition scenography reflects OMA’s distinctive architectural style, further underscoring the dialogue between heritage and modernity.

Divided into 10 themed rooms, the exhibition explores Tiffany’s pillars: heritage, creativity, innovation, and romance. Each gallery immerses visitors in a chapter of Tiffany’s legacy, from groundbreaking gemstone artistry to icons of pop culture, culminating with the awe-inspiring Tiffany Diamond.

Inspiring Wonder Since 1837

As Alexandre Arnault, Executive Vice President at Tiffany & Co., emphasized:

“The concept of wonder has been a cornerstone of our brand since its inception in 1837. Every piece we create is designed to ignite wonder and inspire significant romantic narratives. This latest exhibition in Tokyo celebrates this enduring spirit.”

Through Tiffany Wonder, visitors are invited to not only admire Tiffany’s masterpieces but also to reflect on the Maison’s enduring role in shaping dreams, culture, and design for nearly two centuries.

Exhibition Dates and Access

Tiffany Wonder will be open from April 12 to June 23 at the TOKYO NODE gallery in Toranomon Hills Station Tower. Tickets are available exclusively through the Tiffany & Co. app from March 14 to June 23.
