46 of the most exceptional jewels will headline the Magnificent Jewels sale on May 14th as part of Sotheby’s Luxury Sales in Geneva.
Over 200 additional pieces will be offered in a dedicated online sale, "Iconic Jewels: Her Sense of Style", running from May 2nd to May 16th.
This extraordinary selection pays homage to twentieth-century jewelry design, showcasing iconic pieces and influential trends from esteemed houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Boucheron, Chaumet, David Webb, Mauboussin, Marina B, Sterlé, and Mellerio dits Meller.
A particularly special place within "Iconic Jewels: Her Sense of Style" is occupied by René Boivin pieces dating from the 1930s to 1990s.
Also, among the standout items are Bulgari treasures, notably a striking pair of earrings adorned with two exquisite Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds, once cherished by Baroness di Portanova, a prominent American socialite.
