Soccer Superstar Kylian Mbappé Becomes Dior's Newest Global Ambassador
The House of Dior welcomes Paris Saint-Germain's French soccer player Kylian Mbappe as its newest global brand ambassador.
The young sports star will be representing Dior’s menswear and men’s perfume Sauvage. He officially joined Dior's roster of global ambassadors that includes famous names such as Johnny Depp, Iris Law, the Blackpink's, and Anna-Taylor Joy.
"Today, the House of Dior is particularly happy to welcome Kylian Mbappé with whom it shares the same values of exacting standards and generosity," the famous brand announced in a statement.
"I am delighted to announce that I am now officially part of Maison Dior. Can’t wait to share our collaborations in men’s fashion and Sauvage fragrance," Mbappe wrote on his Twitter account.
Dior Is Aready A Patner For Mbappé's Team
The brand, a subsidiary of the LVMH group controlled by billionaire Bernard Arnault, concluded a two-year partnership with Paris Saint-Germain in early September. The players’ wardrobe for both casual and formal events will be signed by Dior for the next two seasons.
The PSG player joins other celebrities from the world of sports who have become images of luxury companies such as Zinédine Zidane, David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Thiago Silva, and Olivier Giroud.
Mbappé - France’s Ligue 1 Young Player
Despite his age, Mbappé has received numerous awards for his performance and is considered to be one the most exciting young talent in the soccer world. He has won over a dozen individual awards such as Fifa’s “Best Young Player,” France’s Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year, and the Kopa Trophy for best under-21 player worldwide.
In August 2017, Mbappé transferred to PSG for a reported €145 million, becoming the most expensive teenager ever in football.
Last month, Mbappé's unprecedented quartet of goals helped France to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, his being the first quartet of goals for the national team since 1958.
