Vintage 1930’s...Collectors item! This bunch was initially a special order from CHANEL for their best clients. The flowers rest in a gilded metal pot with cane-pattern. The gilded metal frame is decorated with green blown glass foliage and mauve violet flowers with a central rhinestone as pistil. These cachepots were completely handmade requiring hundreds of hours of labor to produce these decorative gems. These floral objets d'art were fixtures in the homes of the wealthy and famous, notably the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Approximate Measurements: Height 3”, Diameter 1.5” Made in France
