This extraordinary flower cuff bracelet was created in the 1990s for Yves Saint Laurent Paris, in collaboration with Maison Goossens, the celebrated Parisian atelier renowned for crafting jewelry for haute couture houses including Chanel, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent.

The bracelet is formed as a wide, softly curved cuff with a richly textured, hammered gold-toned surface. Across the front blooms an arrangement of sculptural flowers, each individually hand-shaped from folded metal petals and finished with domed centers. The organic movement of the petals creates depth, light, and dramatic volume — a hallmark of Goossens’ artisanal metalwork.

These floral cuffs were designed as runway statement pieces, worn with YSL couture collections where jewelry functioned as wearable sculpture. Unlike mass-produced accessories, Goossens pieces were crafted in small quantities using traditional hand-forming techniques, giving each cuff subtle variations and a distinctive artistic presence.
